I’ll just leave this here....

I have the wrong last name, the annoying ginger with the glasses.

You are correct, I have the wrong last names but we are talking about the same guy. Off to get more coffee :)

Harris IMHO is the weak link. He comes across as obnoxious and not in a confident way that Jeremy is, but a petulant toddler that is screaming for attention. I really can’t even get through his segments with the sound up, I want to smack him hard and tell him to grow the fuck up, stop dressing like he’s in high

Depends on state\local laws. In my state, POV can have red and white lights but only facing forward and mounted between the top of the windshield and bottom of the license plate (in other words, no light bars), no wigwags or strobe headlights, unless you are a chief or deputy chief, and no siren is allowed on any POV.

I just finished watching it. Not as bad as I feared, not as great as it could be. I hope to have more Sabine in the future, she can wheel a car, is easy on the eyes, is smart, and articulate (even in broken English).

Chris Evans irritates me, he’s over the top most of the time. Someone needs to tell him that this

Coming to a complete stop doesn’t make sense, but slowing down significantly does. As an EMS driver, we can roll through lights and signs without stopping, but even in critical cases, we still slow down and ROLL through them, not blast through them like they don’t exist. Sirens only have an effective range of 300ft in

Did you really use him converting to Catholicism as a supporting argument for him NOT being a pedophile?

I daily drive ACVWs with drum brakes, they work fine. Actually, they work quite well. According to C&D, a 1972 Beetle with drum brakes stopped from 70 in 180 feet. For comparison:

I’ve heard about that one but never from someone who actually had it happen to them. Irony is that if you actually use it for stage rally, then how is it legal with the lights but if you run a night stage, you want the lights? I guess register and inspect it in VT :D. I had one place years ago fail me because my roll

Northerner. We have no sales tax or income tax :). Live free or die.
Unfortunately, we do have state inspections, which do little to keep rusting death bombs off the road but do help keep the service centers in business - which is why many of them constantly run a ‘free SI’ promo. They eat the state fee because they

I see your point but look at it like this: if they only sit on one model for 16 days before selling it, that kind of speaks to demand. If it wasn’t popular the average time on the lot would be higher, no matter how few they got and the more popular models would average a higher turnover, even if they have 50 of them

5th Gear: America’s Hottest Car Is...

Fortunately in my state, that isn’t the case. You have to take training, more training than you do to get a non-commercial drivers’ license.
Not only is it sad that some places don’t do that, driving one of those things is more distracting than texting - monitoring the radio, watching for traffic, watching for

Cages.
Seats.
Belts.
Helmet.
It all matters. Impressive they weren’t hurt, the lateral forces must have been massive. While the cage did its job perfectly, without quality seats, belts, and helmets, even the cage couldn’t have saved them.

Exactly, timgray.
TyR, I think you missed my point.

So, say you have a cover that cracked - and yes, if you spend any time on one of the multiple brand-specific enthusiast forums, you will see complaints often about things of this nature, or at least I do, from ACVW to Dodge to Lancia to P-cars - so you contact the

That would be the solution, but the issue isn’t being promoted freely, the issue is ‘this piece of shit Dodge\Audi\BMW\Trabant cover cracked in 3 weeks’ with a pic of the logo and part posted to some forum, you know, say like, hmmmm, Jalopnik, and then that ‘free promotion’ just became a PR nightmare.

I also sent them an email, I got a nice response back:

I’d like to nominate...

No kidding, I was going to ask the same thing. I like pork rinds...Hondas not so much. Even sriracha doesn’t make a Honda taste good.
