Likewise. I was just pointing out that tasers and batons are not in the same class of less lethal weapons. Any baton hit from the neck and up is to be considered lethal. I'd also rather get tased than pepper sprayed.

Tasers are NOT meant for pain compliance. OC spray and batons are. Tasers temporarily disable you by making your muscles useless, pain is not the main goal here. Tasers are effective when pain compliance is not, and this is why police need them. Anyone who uses a Taser for another purpose is abusing the tool.
