Fucking great.

*Looks around the room*

Musk sounds like one of those pretentious pricks who measures how intelligent something is by how incomprehensible it is to understand. I hate those fuckers.

Not what I'm saying at all, just that police are often hypocritical when it comes to following the laws they enforce. I hate people that use the phone when driving.

Agreed on all points, but since when have police officers ever given a shit about following the law themselves?

Well played...

James Cameron @ Everyone: I'M KING OF THE TRENCH!

Hey Glickenhaus, I don't have much money, but I am willing to work as a slave for a few months. Think we could work something out?

He wasn't getting dragged by the car, he was pushing it.

HEY GUISE!

Yeah, I'm not sure why they didn't just make this instead. Looks much more like a Ferrari should.

Because if $24k is at the upper limit of what you can afford, you're not exactly swimming in wealth (though you're not exactly poor either). $24k is a lot of money to you, and getting the best return on your investment is probably a valid concern. I do not think spending $24k on an FR-S is worth it when you only have

True, but I live in Canada where all used cars have a 10-20% markup over their US counterparts because people suck.

I think the FR-S makes sense if $24k is at the lower end of price range of "cars I want and can afford." If you're buying an FR-S when it is at the upper limit of what you can afford, I think you're making a huge mistake.

With a couple bolt-on parts, sure. But really, you're not buying the FR-S for the power anyway. It's all about handling, and the Miata is all about handling too. That extra power the FR-S has won't do it much good on an autocross, which is pretty much what the FR-S is made for.

Gimmi daily drives a Seven, so there's that. If you're hardcore enough, it would be possible.

I honestly can't think of any reason why I would buy an FR-S for $24k when I can get a Miata with 100,00km for ~$6k. They have similar power, similar weight, probably similar handling, and at least the Miata has huge aftermarket support right now. With the $18k you save, you could easily tune it to be a track monster,

Stock cars. It's like 120 degrees in there, of course they're going to be hot.
