This headline absolutely summed up my day yesterday. My Monday? Not so much...

No shame in disc golf. Got into it after visiting a friend in Santa Cruz where that's all they do when not surfing. It's kind of a pain in the ass since I live in LA and apparently space is a little too limited to put in a course anywhere w/in a half hour drive, but it's definitely a fun "sport" to take part in.

Spent my freshman year at UWEC 00-01. Had a friend in Mt Vernon and saw them play outside of Davies, then followed Deyarmond Edison to the Stones Throw and House of Rock. Damn do I miss Water St.

Dude absolutely deserves the nominations. W/o going all "I knew him way back when..." and sounding extra-douchey, I've been a fan of Justin Vernon for a LONG time (going back 11 years,) so it's fun to see someone you've watched that long get national attention.
