Reason #495859794 why I love Gary Oldman.

You sound like an awesome person and a fantastic grandson. :)

YES. Same here. Actually, that reminds me that I need to go out and buy some slippers this weekend.

Is it weird that I read it in a Dalek's voice? Like "AWE.SOME. TOY. SALE. SHOP. OR. YOU. WILL. BE. EXTERMINATED."

Oh my God, STIRRUP PANTS. I wore those all the damn time in middle school.

Oh no! :-( Yikes, I'm scared to go back there now.

I AM SO IN. May I suggest The Fireplace Inn, in Old Town? Nice cozy place and yummy food.

What the everlasting fuck? This would've been my response to that message:

Exactly. Pretty sure my mice don't give a crap if I look pretty.

THANK YOU for this article. I need to be reminded of this. I veer way too far on the "doormat" side of the spectrum, and I let people walk all over me. Sometimes it honestly feels like I'm apologizing for my very existence. I've been trying really hard to break away from that, and it feels really empowering but

Oh my Lordy. I've had Serenity sitting in my iTunes library for months and haven't watched it yet. Guess that needs to change this weekend!

What's cuter than Nathan with a tiny bunny? Nathan with a tiny puppy, of course.

UGH, the cheapskate. I have one of those in my office. I swear this person owes me like $50 for all the times I've covered her share of lunch orders and boss Christmas gifts.

Haha, true! And do your hair and makeup for you too.

This was me after reading the description of this movie. NOPE.

Yes. I want to see this kind of scene show up in a movie now.

I had Glamour Shots done when I was like 12. They were so hilariously bad, I burned all copies except for one so I can look back at it and laugh.

I fricking love this movie. I remember when it came out I thought it looked scary so I wanted to read the book first. This book (and The Andromeda Strain) is what made me truly fall in love with science fiction. God, I miss Michael Crichton. He was awesome.

Yep, this. I had such a crush on Malcolm. He was badass.

I used to love writing in cursive when I was a kid. In fact, I was so nerdy about handwriting I even did calligraphy for a while. Sadly, now that I'm becoming An Old, my writing has gotten steadily messier.
