This happened to my mom too; we got there and even though she distinctly remembers registering, she was told they couldn't find her name so she couldn't vote. She's pretty pissed; I told her to call the elections board.

Ok, every year I say I'm going to do NaNoWriMo and every year I chicken out because I think whatever I end up writing will be shit. If Britney can get a book deal - and if people actually seem to want to read about people becoming reality TV stars - I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be ashamed of whatever I come up with.
