"But it couldn't have come at a better time, as I was planning on seducing some mice later this afternoon. What? Don't give that look. They have pretty mouths." OMG. I am DYING over here.

I need to find a way to work "Gandalfing" into a conversation now.

HA! I love this bit. "Golf: the only sport where you can dress like a pimp, and no one will care."

Way ahead of you there. Vinho Verde is my friend.

Ugh. I have so much crap going on right now and I don't feel like dealing with ANY of it. Totally overwhelmed and in "lalala I can't hear you" mode. I'm moving in a couple of months and the mere thought of it (after 5 years in the same place) makes me feel like I'm going to have a panic attack.

Let's Kill Hitler is one of my fave episodes, right up there with Blink and Human Nature/Family of Blood. And I STILL can't bring myself to watch the last few episodes with 10 so I know exactly what you mean.

Heh, I can see him being an obnoxious fool IRL. But he amuses me, so whatevs.

Ha! Yep, I've read enough to know that the ending will inevitably piss me off. But Barrowman is just so pretty to look at.

OK Torchwood, I like you and think you're pretty cool so far, but you get major side-eye from me for that Cyberwoman episode. I mean, really?!

Just spent a couple hours studying physics. I'm rather proud of that fact, given that on a normal day I'd rather extract my own wisdom teeth with a fork than study physics. Now for some wine!

I haven't but it's next on my list. I love the two of them together. So funny!

Yup, that's the one! You'll love it.

It's so great. I'm saving the second half to watch tomorrow. I mean I knew he was good from watching Doctor Who, but damn, he's amazing in this.

You guys. I'm watching the RSC production of Hamlet with David Tennant, and he's already breaking my heart 30 minutes in. My silly fangirl crush on him just increased about 1000-fold.

Thank you!

Thanks! The conference is about medical imaging (I work with a new technique to study brain and spine inflammation.)

Thank you! It's not ICEM 2012 but that one looks pretty interesting! I don't think I'll be going unfortunately....academic hierarchy FTL. :-/

Today I found out my work is being presented at an international conference in Ireland! YAY!

Holy hotness. I didn't even know it was possible to have eyes that blue.

Woohoo! Happy birthday Jez!!
