@HerdingCats: I always err on the side of being overdressed. Something simple, but with some nice jewelry always works for me.

I truly hate Heidi Klum's haircut. There, I said it.
Never thought I'd say this, but Team Ronson. Is there some new requirement for joining Twitter that I'm not aware of that requires someone's brain-to-mouth (or brain-to-keyboard) filter to be removed?
This just proves my theory that you don't necessarily need to be smart to be a lawyer.
WANT.
There are fresh lilacs sitting in a vase in my kitchen right now, thanks to my mom, and the smell is making me very happy. I love spring.
@Oleander: I'm sorry to hear what you went through, and good for you for standing up for yourself. I kind of feel the same way about family vs. friends. I know blood is thicker than water - and my family loves me the best way they know how - but my friends have been there for me time and time again, when I couldn't…
I'm currently being reminded why I never watch Univision. I speak Spanish and I have no idea what the hell is going on with this show right now.
Shows like this make me infinitely thankful that I went to an awesome all-girls high school with an incredibly empowering, supportive environment, not to mention a really great group of friends. It's so scary to be a teenager these days.
I'm really envious of anyone who has this kind of internal self-esteem and is able to just be happy with herself and everyone else be damned. I've always been on the "average" side of things (whatever the hell that means, I guess) and have lost 16 pounds since the beginning of the year. Yet I still nitpick and…
I want to slap this woman.
@delicatedisarray: Very good point. I was indeed tested for Factor V Leiden and am homozygous for it. As scary as getting a clot from BC was, I'm glad I know now so I can prepare when or if I ever get pregnant. It can be scary stuff and it's so important that women know about it.
I was on Yasmin for a month before I ended up with a very painful blood clot in a vein that (thankfully) was superficial (meaning no immediate danger to me), but it scared the hell out of me. Screwing with hormones is not something to be taken trivially.
I'm definitely not changing my name, both for professional reasons (I worked my ass off to get where I am and I'll be damned if those publications vanish into the ether and can't be found with a name change) and that I'm starting to like my last name. I mean you don't morph into some sort of two-headed conglomerate…
Wow. A lot of celebs don't seem to understand that just because you can tweet about something doesn't mean you should. His agent must be having a coronary right now.
@SchizotypalVamp: Thanks! I hope so too :-)
@josie_2010: I had the same reaction to the Rhys commercial! Murray FTW :-)
@unmoldednicole: OMG, what a handsome little man! I'm so sorry for your loss.
@tessa: WANT. OMG, so cute!
@Oleander: That doesn't sound like an unreasonable goal to me, if you train consistently and gradually. If you increase your speed gradually, you should be able to do 3 miles no problem. Be sure you give yourself a day in between runs to rest when you're just starting out, because it's really easy to injure yourself…
