I wonder if we’ll ever get the details of the Keillor accusations. What I hear is not that he’s an asshole—in fact, I hear the opposite—but that’s he’s profoundly socially awkward and shy.

I can’t speak about Neeson, but I do think that the allegations against Keillor are thin to the point of nonsense.

These are fun middle grade books. They’re no Lockhart and Co. (which would be another good role for her), but very good.

Huh, I never cared a lot for a Scully-Mulder romance but because TV it was virtually guaranteed to happen at some point. Anyway, I find the scene at the end of The Unnatural quite romantic as well.

Free Vicky, y’all!

I always thought Eccleston and Tennant would duke it out as my favorite Doctors.

Moffatt gave Capaldi one of the best episodes of modern Who (Heaven Sent), and deserves more generosity for how much he did for the revival than the pissy (passive) aggressiveness that show ‘fans’ direct towards him. In his retirement, why not have some graciousness?

Agreed. I feel Smith was well served by his time under Moffat, but Capaldi never really got the stories he deserved.

It was one he’ll of a great gambit. It is the closest thing to a reboot NuWho has had, and it payed in the dividend of cementing Doctor Who as a global phenomenon. I’m a diehard Tennant/Davies fan, but it hasn’t prevented me from enjoying anything since (or before, for that matter).

What is “BLM land”???? Is it Black Lives Matter land?? What is that?

I saw American Werewolf in London Labor Day weekend my Freshman year of college and had to walk home across a strange campus with my dorm mate to sleep in a strange room surrounded by people we’d only known a few days. Plus the school’s mascot is a wolf so howling is not uncommon at night on campus. We were both

THIS! Definitely better than It Follows.

The Haunting (a terrific adaptation of The Haunting of Hill House.) Make sure you get the original 1963 black and white, not that abortion from the nineties.

This year, I find the news terrifying enough without added terror.

Old fogey here who remembers seeing that film in theaters back in the day.

I just recently watched An American Werewolf in London for the first time on Amazon Prime. It’s a damn good movie and should be on this list.

YES. THIS IS MY FAVORITE POST OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She quickly cut back that I shouldn’t respond to hate w/ hate
