I think Zodiac is overrated, but I haven't seen it in ages. So it's possible I'm not remember it correctly. That said, I remember thinking it wasn't nearly as good as some people said.

Even if you let "bitch" fly, "Pearl Necklace" and "Doggy Style" are pretty poor, you'll admit. (Although it seems "Doggy Style" has been changed to "Flying Dog Pale Ale.")

That's a funny point! I know this is betwixt you and JDRM, but let me just say this: I really liked Mulholland Drive, and I fucking hated Kid A. I loved Radiohead up to that point, and I really tried to like that album, but I couldn't. So the two aren't inherently bound.

I largely agree with your sentiments here, but I disagree that Fincher's only great movie is Seven. Fight Club was great, Zodiac was very good (if overrated), and The Social Network was good. Hell, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was good. I feel like you're being a little hot take-y by dismissing him.

Mulholland Drive is phenomenal. Yes, it has that "isn't this weirrrrd stuff blowing your mind, mannnnnn?" that ruins a lot of Lynch's stuff. But it has a plot that actually makes sense in a linear way if you take 10 minutes to piece it together. Also, Naomi Watts has literally never been better.
