Yep, they filmed the Arena in the Blue Ridge Mountains (part of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina) and District 12 in the foothills. You have no idea how thrilled I am that they filmed in my homestate. My hometown too, given that they filmed the Capitol in Charlotte.
