Yeah, I'm with the people who took it down. I really would mind the tree, and I don't see why I should have to walk past a tree filled with sex toys everyday because a company wants to advertise their products. It's one thing if it's a tree that's being put up by a business and decorated to beautify the street.

I don't mind the tree (I'd probably help myself to an ornament or two) but if the people who actually live in the community have a problem with it, then they have the right to get it taken down. Why enlist outsiders to impose this tree on a community that clearly doesn't want it?

The store could always put it in their

As a Jew, I can tell you... Christmas can defend itself, Fox.

Hanukkah could use a hand, though. Our Latkes are long overrun with shitty Christmas music and bringing trees in the house.

Is Mila Kunis 'white'? Am I going to get destroyed for asking that? Jewish Ukrainian background isn't quite "dominant majority white" to me, and characters in her movies often make jokes about how "exotic" (read: not white) she looks. Ex. Ted. And 'eyes' are a pretty fundamental part of a face.

Well, this was done in Britain. Can you think of a pastier bunch of peeps?

Is sexism in the marketing of children's toys a problem? Yep! Is it the same as the Holocaust and Colonialism? NO. STOP NOW. She didn't even try to make a good argument as to why they're related.

aaaaaaaand there it is, you have Godwin's Law-ed yourself in your own article. I'm not saying there is no way to relate these topics, but this is shoddy, bad writing. Its not even writing; all you've done is to shoehorn two images in at the end as if TA-DA! I've proved dolls = racism because book! See! See! .... This

I would normally agree with you, but fast fashion is a cut-throat, tight profit-margin of a beast. So there is a chance this is for real.

The real punchline here is that appealing to emotion is how you get AMERICANS to vote for you, regardless of whether they have a penis or not.

I've brought up the fact that Jews don't exactly have a free ride in America, only to be told off. Even on this site.

You know as someone who has been called nasty names like kike and been asked before "what kind of people make the best fire wood???" before you would think I'd be used to the hate, but nope, this is something that should never be something someone is "used too". Anti-semitism is still incredibly strong in our society

Um, no? When the media says 'Arab Israeli Christians' they mean exactly that - citizens of Israel who are both Christian and Arab. There are also a number of Israeli Arab Muslims too, and both groups have all the same rights and privileges as Jewish Israelis. The Palestinians, most of whom are Muslim (though some are

Don't compare greatness to mediocrity. I respect what Patrick stands for, but it's not even close to the same. Jackie Robinson was more than just the first, he was an exceptional player who didn't have the privilege to coast on his sex appeal and "girl power."

I am sick of not being able to make fun of her or call her out on her terrible record. She has 1 win for her entire career and even that was because it was ended early. She's been raised to a god like status because she's an above average looking woman and some would even argue with that.

Mental health professional here! You are absolutely correct, the treatment would not be the same. However, just because diagnoses share a nosological category in the DSM (or any other diagnostic manual in use) does not mean they must share an intervention modality. I actually think it helps free therapists and

It's the middle class that patronizes fast food restaurants.

Thank you. If you read the full (200-page) report, you'd see that she told multiple versions of events (drunk, drugged, hit on the head...) and yet even her friend, not just the other two eyewitnesses, said she saw the girl get in the cab with them fully aware of the situation. The girl even asked the friend if she

I think you're right. But the study this article describes sounds like it (quite rightly) used the same images, but told the participants different prices for the watches.

Apparently saying "as-salamu alaykum" when greeted with a Merry Christmas is offensive. Why can't people just accept it as a general nice thing to say?

That is the dumbest thought anyone has ever had.
