"...why-the-fuck-would-you-buy-a-supercar 2.7 seconds."
This is so hilarious. This is almost exactly what I bought: pretzel sticks, seltzer water, and cheese, among other things. No need to buy bottled water, I just filled up a bunch of 5-gallon water cooler bottles with tap water.
I did too, then I was all like "what kind of app could do that?".
This brings to mind a '79 Fiat Strada we had as a kid (when Fiats were sold here). It couldn't have had more than 80 hp, but I remember my parents saying what a blast it was to drive - 5-speed manual, featherweight, toss-able body, and yes, the seats were supremely comfortable. I used to sit for hours in that car and…
I think you mean "synonymous". But, yes, I agree.
This is the most over-engineered burrito I've ever seen. All that work and it still leaks!
That thing can really wag its tail. Looks like the road was narrow and embanked by soft, muddy grass on both sides. Not the best place to punch it.
It didn't seem like he even wrung it out.
I actually believe this because I have leased pricey luxury cars before - although nothing even close to an Italian exotic. It sure as hell gets you into much more car than you could afford to buy. A $400k Lambo might run you $4000/month in lease payments alone. Someone earning a decent income could technically afford…
Frankly, I don't care. I can't imagine the same people who liked the previous NSX are going to like this one. I go batshit when I see an old NSX - I love the simplicity, elegance, and engineering. This NSX is going to be the equivalent to bloatware, and many people agree with me.
4th Gear: Honda, I am not interested in your modern interpretation of the "NSX". Please go away.
I vehemently declare NO. I would rather be stuck in hell with a crappy 93-hp Toyota Tercel and a 4-speed manual.
What is the point of this article? A sarcastic rant or a reference to an actual craigslist ad?
I'm surprised to see no mention of the Corolla GT-S (AE86) vs. the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ. I'm too lazy to research exact numbers, but some Googling reveals that an '85 GT-S was about $13k, which is approximately $27k by today's standards, pretty damn close to a base FR-S ($24,955) or a base BRZ ($26,265).
That's kind of harsh action to take just because the wording was not to your liking.
After the 5th "weak", you still didn't realize you spelled it incorrectly?
This smacks of a hoax — but I so badly want to believe this.
I wouldn't even consider it if I was a billionaire and I could afford all of the maintenance and gas this would require (think what the average daily operating costs be on this). A commuter should be fun and practical, not torture.
