Plot twist: He means it in the 1950s sense of the word.
I think he's whiny. His music, anyway.
Good point.
Of that I have no doubt. :)
I would assume it also had something to do with bad teeth. In the 1500s, you were lucky to make it to adulthood with all your teeth, royalty included.
I don't think women OR men should believe they're special little snowflakes. It seems to set people up for failure when it comes to relationships because their standards are incredibly strict and it borderline justifies crappy behavior. Again, this has nothing to do with bringing women down. I just don't think anyone…
I understand what you're saying and I agree that confidence is a good thing, but I respectfully disagree re: what Meghan Trainor said. If she meant what you said, wouldn't she have phrased it as "whoever I end up dating?"
I'm sad about this. I love Mandy! Sure, she was saccharine at the start of her career but that's probably because the label she signed with wanted to project that image. Definitely watch her in "Saved!" and listen to the song "Gardenia." You might change your mind :)
Hahaha, yes. One girl even linked to an EliteDaily (lolololol) "article" about all the reasons men should date complicated women. The entire thing was one big justification for being an asshole. So great.
I know girls like this. They constantly post Facebook gifs about what they're looking for in a man and how they won't settle for just anyone. They are perpetually single.
"Whoever gets to date me"
Michelle Williams and Michelle Williams.
LOL!
Ooh, I like that. You could have given Barbara Stanwyck a run for her money with a name like that!
Nope to all of those questions! I'm in NY. I guess we *don't* know each other!
Same here.
What if WE know each other IRL?!
Very fierce.
I hear ya. I've dropped so many hints about my identity in various posts that if anyone who knew me went through them they would be able to put two and two together. Only my boyfriend and best friend know that I post on Jezebel. It's a fun secret!
