You realize that there have been mid-engine concepts and studies the entire history of the Corvette, right?

It’s entirely dependent on the technology used. A very basic halogen reflector lamp could cost the company as little as $20 per lamp where as a full LED lamp could be well into the $350-$500 range. Laser lamps are likely $1500+. Mind you, that’s what it costs Kia, BMW, or Ford, the customer would be paying 2-3 times

High quality headlights are really expensive to produce, that’s why they tend to be on higher end versions of the car. If companies brought their top-level lamps down to the base car, then people would complain about the increased price.

I didn’t know they were letting Forza player drive in real life.

They just announced plans that they’re ending their IMSA program at the end of the season and LeMans was their last WEC race.

This isn’t commuting to work, this is braking from 200+, cornering on the limits of grips, and putting massive stress through the tires for nearly the entire stint. The difference a few PSI can make, especially with the other tires at different settings can at best, unbalance the car and at worst, cause a dangerous

You’re one of those people that ask artists to work “for exposure”, aren’t you?

Everything is too corporate-backed and scientifically tested at the high end of motorsport anymore to see wild guesses at new tech like we did back in the day. Regulations are too tight to allow creative freedom on that level, but maybe we will see it in more grassroots forms of motorsport like time attack.

This is the automotive equivalent of taking Eva Green and putting Rowan Atkinson’s face on her.

I don’t like how the penalty ruined the battle any more than anyone else, I’m just saying adding more regulations and rules is what has hurt F1, doing more of the same won’t help.

I mean, Keanu is in it, how bad can it be?

Isn’t that the van that Doug Demuro said was one of the worst vehicles he’s ever driven? I also hear you can hear more of his thought on autotrader.com

You know what I mean

The penalty wasn’t for blocking, but for an unsafe re-entry. The rule he was penalized for is worded more for re-entry after a spin or backing out of an escape road into a competitor like Ricciardo at Baku. Even if he had been penalized for blocking, you’re assuming he intentionally blocked Hamilton. I haven’t seen

I think that’s a really dangerous idea. If you think people are mad about the politics and artificial passing in F1 are bad now wait until a driver has to let someone pass them because they prevented a pass. I see both sides of the argument, but too many regulations is what got us into this mess, more regulations

So I’m not against the idea of an accent pop color on a bit of your car, I actually think it can look great. Begrudgingly I admit that the full-width yellow guard kinda looks ok on dark green and gray cars. That said, the things say “remove before delivery” on them. It’s essentially the same thing as buying a sweet

You realize that people can have more than one thing that bothers them at a time, right?

The guy’s statement says that if you go 4 off you should lose your position no matter how far ahead you are. That’s completely ridiculous. I used hyperbole to prove my point.

So if someone is 5 laps ahead and they go 4 off due to rain or something they should have to give up their lead? That’s a stupendously bad take.

There’s no regulations for an incident like that, and I don’t think we need one. It was a racing incident at worst.
