The mistake did have consequences, he lost a heap of time.

The problem with making him give up the place is that he didn’t gain a place with the mistake, he just lost ground. Making him give up something that was rightfully his would’ve been a bigger insult in my opinion.

I feel like the only reasons people stay in NYC are a job, a dream of hitting it big, or literally never having lived anywhere else. It’s very nice to visit and there are a lot of genuinely interesting and cool things to see, but the appeal of 4 H&Ms in a 2 block radius of your apartment wears off pretty fast once you

Preach!

You can, there are some lovely homes under your minimum budget. /s

I work in design and manufacturing and 95% of the time our first idea is realistically as good or better than anything our competitors have on the market at the moment since it’s benchmarked against them. A lot of time is then spent refining and polishing for mass-market acceptance and use. If you have skill and

That stripe is...something. And I generally love stripes.

They’re just VERY loud hornet nests. Don’t get too close!

I don’t think it’s terribly complex safety issue regarding the battery, more of how do we quickly move 2 2000lbs battery packs past each other to swap them out issue.

I agree, I was replying to their suggestion of limited battery packs requiring on-site charging. I think bringing as many batteries as you need would be the ideal way to go.

True, there’s also the mechanism that needs to be developed though. I’m sure as the desire for quick-change batteries becomes more prevalent there will be plenty of solutions for how to do it.

I agree with you on the tech development side. It’s just how it looks to the outside world. Electric racing will have a lot of eyes on it, but I’m excited to see what’s capable.

The problem will be swapping 2000lbs of batteries with tons of charge quickly. I’m not saying that it can’t be done, but there’s a lot of safety and tech that will need to be properly developed first. Also, if we have diesel generators charging those batteries between stints, it kinda defeats the purpose, right?

I think the trailer does a good job of saying “money doesn’t buy success at LeMans”. It doesn’t matter how much backing you have, it takes something special to win there, something that Ferrari had at the time. So yeah, I think it’s fair to say that Ford was the underdog in the story.

The British cars were horrible until Shelby and his team fixed them. There’s a reason Ford left Lola for Shelby.

In my experience as a 6'5" 250lbs+ guy, the best way to be comfortable on a flight is to be small.

Fair point, I’m sure there are plenty of horrid airport bathrooms. I’ve been pretty fortunate in my travels.

I’m just asking people to pay attention and be aware that where they’re sitting is a potentially dangerous area. If that makes me a “judgemental asshole” then so be it, but at least I’m not the one cursing at someone I don’t know for just wanting people to be safe.

Haha, I doubt we’ll get to that level, but you never know.

I feel your pain man, being a big guy on any flight sucks. Adding in panic-pees must make it awful.
