I liked the Duke Nukem reply down below. But as far for the "sequencer controller", this is just a toy...

I know, it is a tricky one. But borrowing CDs is a thing of a past. Personally, I thank God I don't have to lend my CDs around anymore :)

Well we could all have a good guess what will be, but who can be sure? I understand your point of view, there will be always need for physical media. One quick parallel, CD albums were at the top in 2002. with 95% of all music sales. Today CDs hold less than 40% of the market. Digital download (singles and albums)

They all should make more solid phones if they want a bigger piece of cake. I tried Samsungs, LGs, SonyEricssons, and mostly they feel like cheap piece of plastic. I still have HTC Hero which feels more solid than bunch of new HTC wannabees...

But the idea is really simple. I have a CD @ home. I "back up" it in the form of mp3. I "lend" it to a "friend" so he can listen. No download, no burn, no copy, just listen. I know that labels are pissed off, but I don't see anyone braking any laws... or jaws :)

Not everybody lives in holy land... grooveshark=everyoneone anywhere... those other you implied=no go

Problem 1: Everybody has an opinion, and every opinion, from opinion holders point is correct

I agree, software is getting bigger and resource hungry. Is there actual need for that? I don't think so. Today, Microsoft Office is bigger than a regular 1GB hard disk in late 90es. And guess what, it does exactly the same thing it did 10 or 15 years ago. A bit of text, a bit of excel, slide here and there, but today

I know you understand that technology advancement is only for making money. IT tech for instance, I have a 3 year old PC at my music studio that is blazingly fast, and I dont need it to be faster. The same is with home entertainment, 4K sounds ridiculous, since 720p or 1080p movies I watch at home are stunning enough.

Let me tell you, this might even work! How many times have you wondered how many people around you is doin' it :) This is gonna be veeery interesting...

I remember my first modem. some 15 years ago which sometimes went online at whooping 14.4kb/s. You could literally read faster than it downloaded basic text pages. Today, I am thinking of ditching storage hard drives because internet is so freakin' fast. I can have 16Mb/s, thats like a THOUSAND times faster than 15

There are so many wrong things with this Neto. OMG get a life :O

Helloooooo... maybe this never got to them :O

Are they gonna close youtube also? I hear you can listen almost everything there.

..geeky enough to get you to gizmodo.

So basically, Gizmodo is cheering for "planet of old people". Grannys on computers is your vision of the future? Well, lucky for us most of people are just plain normal. I would rather cut all age improving researches than not to have a child of my own.

Yes, I thought it thru ;)

Yes, that is my name, and first letter of surname. Be aware, this is not FB or Google. Since I see you are Big Daddy, i guess you already knew that.

If I have to ask, I would ask how much are they. Can I afford them is completely personal, and I don't need anyone assuming I can or cannot (probably not, but non the less). Instead of trying to be funny, you could just write down how much were they. I find your sense of humor very disturbing lately.

I told you that they made hella good marketing wizardry. I never doubted.
