I’m in a gender and communication class in grad school. The class has 12 men and 27 women in it. Last week, the professor asked the class to tell stories of harassment/abuse/intimidation and EVERY SINGLE WOMAN and 3 of the men had at least one story.

I think the real lesson here is that white men are the only people allowed to express discomfort/anger/embarrassment. Everyone else must make room for the white man’s feelings.
