As far as I could tell, the idea was she’d replace Earth-1 Linda and then Zoom wouldn’t be able to tell she wasn’t the Earth-1. But then yes, as Rob pointed out, replacing your double works better if you don’t murder her in public.

Also, there is the important difference that Gotham is terrible.

Yeah, I thought this comic was great when I was 18, but I agree that it really hasn’t aged well, and a lot of the “edgy” stuff really was just juvenile.

Sexy aliens —> Starfox’s entourage?

SO what possible effect can becoming the God of Strength have on pre-depowering Sueprman, who was effectively omnipotent ?

Superman really creates the problem for me of, why isn’t he dealing with this crap? He’s superman. Even lower powered versions of superman should not be ignoring/unable to deal with a band of intergalactic supercriminals dicking around on earth. If we’re in a Man of Steel or higher powered superman, there’s no excuse

I cant wait till Bucky Barnes takes over the mantle.

Yeah, I think the 2% human is false positives, and want to see their control reactions.

exactly. this and other scandals over the last decade (horse meat in beef, cheap fish being passed off as expensive fish) have led companies to beleive that new FDA regulations are impending. DNA based testing has also gotten really fast and cheap, and can answer these questions.

Its about getting ahead of/being prepared to respond to new FDA regulations.

The business model is “the FDA pays us to test foods for pathogens and/or species identity” or “companies pay us to test their foods so they know they will pass FDA tests ahead of time.” There’s actually an incredible amount of money in the rapid DNA diagnostics market right now, in food and elsewhere.

While we’re science nitpicking, how about when Caitlin freaked out because Stein’s blood pressure was “147/82!” Which is...a perfectly normal blood pressure for someone in their 60s? Like, mildly hypertensive, his doctor woudl only medicate if his family had a history of heart disease. Also, one generally passes out

Odd, or very 1970s Hulk?

The problem comes with dangers from the screen itself, and more procedures being called for that would be called without a screen—which sounds like a good thing until you consider that all surgery has risks, and if you’re operating on things that are benign, would resolve on their own, or were straight up false

“...in just about any other superhero show, the idea of 20 or so dudes in hooded robes running around the city randomly murdering people would be nonsense; too silly to ever work.”

Seeing light that left the star while it was under construction is very unlikely. Pedant.

And the almost certain death of the Inhumans movie if this is true—no room on that schedule!

“I think he...there’s something that he is struggling with that you’ll start to learn in the next couple episodes. That’s party where Caitlin comes into play, to help him with something”

Or probably upon reflection, swamp guy is a magic man, and Murphy Sr. hates all magic men with murder passion.

Then why didn’t he tell his Dad where he was going? He only said he was taking food to the crazy guy in the tower, right?
