It's like how DmC would be a half-decent action game if it wasn't using the Devil May Cry name and characters.

There are many cases where games are actually quite passable—-But when faced by the legacy of their predecessors, they simply don't measure up—-Usually when something integral to the formula of the prior games

And all the Blind Guardian references.

Damn that is some sexy armor.

Honestly, Retailer-Exclusive pre-order DLC wouldn't be nearly as bad if it were all available at launch but choosing a specific retailer nets you a certain one for free.

For example, in this case, the one I like in particular is the Hitman set. Have all 3 available at launch, but people who pre-order from steam get

Even worse—-We don't know if Nintendo has caught up on the whole "Sell them separately, later" deal—-Last I heard, if you don't pre-order you don't get an alternate costume for Link or Zelda, and if you don't get it within the first month, you don't get the alternate costumes for Ganondorf, either.

Truth be told, the last call of duty I bought was one of the CoD2 spin offs. (Might have been Big Red One)

However, from what (admittedly little) I've seen it looks to be a bit more adventurous than recent titles—-Though it's up in the air as to how much.

I'd also go with hesitant but optimistic.

Though, at least there's

God of War's combos were very simplistic and insubstantial—-However it did have a ton of QTEs.

Bayonetta, however, has more combos than you'd ever need yet also gives God of War a run for it's money on mandatory QTEs per level.

Now playing

Bayonetta had a mandatory QTE placed every 2-4 minutes or so through out the levels——Whether it was button-mash-fests in mid-cutscene, which happened in the middle of boss fights (for no reason) and in regular cutscenes (for no reason) or during regular gameplay where you'll be walking along a bridge or some shit only

No, "better looking" is proper in this case. The original Super Mario Bros (Widely considered one of the most brilliant and interesting games of all time) clocks in at a mere 41kb.

You don't need much data to make a game brilliant and interesting.

But higher resolution textures, higher polygon count models, lighting

Fans of the original 2009 game will recognize a lot in the above videos. There's the same fast-paced combo-based combat that made Bayonetta satisfying in that visceral God of War-type way. And despite her new, shorter 'do, the eponymous star is still rocking the same salacious leather outfit and hair-based attacks

There's potential. But from these guys? I highly doubt there's much.

Haha! Dude! Same here!

He was creepy as fuck, always following you around like a zombie and shit—-Fucker was invincible, too. Try to shoot him and he just raises his damned silver bullet-shield (dafuq?)

That and heavy metal.

And heavy metal nerds *Cough*Power Metal*Cough*

Do you remember the moment when you learned how to play video games? When the joystick or the gamepad stop being a foreign object and started feeling like a part of your body? Maybe you do; maybe you don't. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a game that puts you back in touch with that sensation, using an unorthodox

Well, not exactly. Only if it is a game where multiplayer isn't the focus or if it's a yearly update kind.

A lot of online games retain their user-base for long periods of time—-Even more so on P.C.

Despite Battlefield 2 having lost it's online support, you can still find privately run dedicated servers to hop into.

Gears

PC Gamers will argue that you can save more by buying it later—-We'll also claim that if you just must have it first day, then, yeah, you can save a fair bit of money by pre-ordering at the right time.

I enjoyed it. It was obviously flawed, but it was at least enjoyable.

I used to do it with my Gamecube when I was like, 11.

Thank you, Wavebird!

I detect an E.A. employee =P
