@teh1andonlym0: Yeah, but waiting to get upgraded can sometimes take a while. And the Galaxy Tab's specs are at the bottom of the requirements Google has released for Gingerbread. The HTC Tab looks like it'll be a bit more powerful.

The more I read about Google saying it doesn't support the use of 2.2 on tablets, the more I feel inclined to wait until HTC releases their tablet with 3.0.

You couldn't release it before Christmas HTC? It's one of the only times I can justify to my wife spending $790 on something I don't need.

@sassafras_: Wow, that is complicated! but I'll give it to you, it would work! I have heard that gmail calling is going to be coming to an Android app soon, so I'll hold off for a bit to see if that comes to fruition. If not, thank you for the viable option.

@sassafras_: Calling regular numbers with Sipdroid is not free which cancels that out for me.
