@Bill Clinton: You can call land line numbers anywhere in the US for free with Skype?

What we need is an Android App that allows you to make calls with your Google Voice number through Gmail's free calling service, then all you need is your home wi-fi to compensate for a bad cell signal.

@s02mike: Good point. The EVO can do that too, right?

@DaltonAtlas: I'm pretty sure he wasn't the first to do this.

@brianbeatdown: You can get this for free from Sprint with a 2-year contract. Just get the wifi version and hook it up, then you can use your 4G on anything from your tab to your laptop or even your current phone.

@Fractal the Meek: I did not know that. Perhaps that will cause problems with Froyo, but as gingerbread is going to be geared towards tablets, perhaps they will have it figured out on that iteration.

@T-800: Android Market works fine over WiFi...

If you can't beat 'em, limp along for a few years barely getting by, then join up with their toughest competition.

@Donuthead: How else are you going to fill up the base's morale drive?

"Microsoft is being extremely protective of both Windows Phone 7 hardware and software, meaning you won't be seeing a full skin"

With all those capabilities, someone might try to steal your "little black box".

@sandgnome: I could be very happy with 10mbps on my phone...

@ddhboy: Hey, call it whatever you want, it all comes down to the speeds.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but an initial rollout of 30 cities kinda blows Sprint out of the water, right?

@FriarNurgle: Sometimes I don't want to get out of bed at night because I'm afraid Nancy Pelosi is underneath, just waiting for me to put my foot down.

The world is full of grieving people just waiting to be suckered...

@ObiHaiv: Correction... I'll have to watch all four!

@SEDAGIVE?!: Promotions all around! Huzzah!
