I think it’s gotta be Ellison. We can’t keep making the same mistakes over and over. And that’s not to say I think Perez would be another DWS, but he’s an alarmingly “safe” choice. There needs to be a bold, progressive takeover of the Democratic Party if we’re to have any hope of not only gaining back all the ground…
Nah. Grow the fuck up.
I can save her the trouble: It went wrong when you did everything in your power to alienate the enthusiastic progressives in your party with a cynical, identity politics-driven campaign, that by the time you secured the nomination and shifted left, it was too late.
What a stick in the mud! I like to pretend I slayed my enemies with my dick.
The sad fact is, you need to pick your battles when it comes to cabinet appointments. DeVos is hellbent on destroying the institution of public education. She needs to be stopped at any cost.
I’ll cop to a morbid curiosity about such things. Certainly not something I’d share in any kind of public forum, though.
Perfect.
That’s what we said a month and a half ago.
True, but this is operating under the presumption that every one of these people — or even a sizable percentage of them -- would have voted for Clinton had Stein not been in the race. I don’t think any reasonable person could claim that to be the case.
Get out of here with your measured, perfectly rational position.
It was certainly one of the more offensive things to come from Clinton and her acolytes.
I, on the other hand, am having a hard time looking at the Clinton people who painted all of his supporters as misogynistic bros during the primaries. You did everything you could to alienate the sane, progressive voices who supported Sanders and to suppress what was clearly a watershed moment in democratic politics.…
I’m not a big fan of Hillary’s, but it was incredibly easy to vote for her because A) I don’t have any sentimental attachment to my vote, B) this election isn’t about my precious little feelings, and C) I’m not a selfish twat.
Okay, Bill.
...pressurized?
“But it is, perhaps, a reflection of the way those things are viewed in the real world, and might reflect troubling things about the real world.”
Nonsense. They voted the same 93% of the time. That’s not the same as agreeing on 93% of the issues. There is a sharp ideological divide between them that you’d have to be blind not to see.
I fully expect both teams to be 5-0 when they face each other.
