Clouds don't form cleanly defined letters.

I think there was an episode of Weeds about this. Nancy was asking a bunch of rich people what the difference between a $300 bottle of wine and a $30 bottle of wine was, and someone was like $270. So she started selling dimebags to the same people for $500.

I shot my senior thesis in 4k. Pretty sure its a real thing.

Its like a goofy little puppy. Something about it is endearing.

Not so dumb, its jaunty little walk is wonderful.

One (more) thing we can blame the media for: casting such a constant and exaggerated spotlight on Apple's patent filings as if nobody else in the universe does anything.

More than anything, I am amazed at how well they kept this a secret. They even had Netflix and Pandora adding buttons (maybe the everybody just thought it was for the CUE or GoogleTV or some other failed project). This thing seems to have just come out of nowhere and for $35 it could have a huge impact.

Good to know. So, you need to plug it in - either to a wall socket, or if your TV is one of the many that also has (powered) USB ports, then you can just plug the cable into that instead, and be done with it. But, I don't see how much energy it draws listed anywhere. I'll operate under the assumption that it's

If you already have Netflix, you're basically getting this for $11??? And yes, I have spent more on a sandwich and it wasn't nearly as functional.

I'm officially, ridiculously psyched about this thing.

Well the title of the article is literally "You'd Be Crazy Not to Buy Google Chromecast" so I figured I had to be missing something. Just making sure I wasn't.

Anyone else feel like this patch is simply a small piece of cardboard treated with snake oil? I get bit with anything less strong than DEET. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to work. I hate bites.

yea...I should really just start reading Engadget for things that are serious, because Giz writers seem twitchy, they don't take the time to get the full picture

Accidentally published?

Alright, it's official. I can no longer discern between reality and computer generated images. I am equal parts excited and terrified.

wtf? I guess cylindrical IS the new black

That was pretty much the only reason I clicked in here. Bravo, Giz.

Having - erm - "observed" that particular "movie" , that framegrab is almost literally a single frame. Someone had to look long and hard (pun intended) to get exactly the right expression on that pic.

Agree'd. I never saw british porn myself but I would assume it would be regular porn but just with this kind of hat.

"Porn depicting rape or violence towards women will become illegal, and law enforcement will get increased access to the networks to monitor the creation and spread of child pornography."
