It's weird. They only see north and south Jersey, and regardless of where you are, especially in south Jersey, EVERYTHING north of you is north Jersey. You could be in Tuckerton, way deep in south Jersey, and everything else is north. Central Jersey, though? It's just right. Twenty miles north and ten miles south…

I don't know what they officially want. I thought it was just "Dakota". I think I recall them complaining "north" makes them sound "cold" or something. Like -50 doesn't really make them cold. Why not just combine the north and south. It's not like theres all that many people in the two states.

I grew up in Neptune, in Central Jersey, then Philly for college, then Cherry Hill, in South Jersey, for a few years before moving to South Carolina. South Jersey is truly a pit of despair, though I wouldn't want to live in North Jersey, either. Central was just right.

Yep. In NJ, where I grew up, South Jersey is WAY different than North Jersey, and Central Jersey the only normal lot of them.

I can see people not slowing down at a red light because they think they know it's going to turn green in 2 seconds.
