Good lord my clients are going to straight murder me if that happens.

It depends. A standard “getting hired by a U.S. company” process (employment based categories 1 through 3 aka the PERM process aka the Labor Certification process) should be paid for by the U.S. employer anyway, and we have yet to find an employer willing to shell out 140k! Usually it’s about 10% of that.
Correct. Not seeing a corresponding announcement to increase staff to handle the extra interviews...
Conditional residency is only for marriage cases and immigrant investor cases. The other employment based immigrant categories do NOT have a 2-year conditional period.
I can tell you that this is definitely not the case.
It will totally add months or years to the process, and although they should NOT be reopening the underlying petition, I would hate to see an inexperienced officer reopening an employment based case.
Yes, the AOS process is for someone already in lawful U.S. status getting their permanent residency. Alternatively, applicants for permanent residency can apply at a U.S. consulate abroad, which ALWAYS comes with an interview.

It has always been for family/marriage cases. For employment-based cases, they were discretionary, but almost always waived. Basically, USCIS just doubled the workload for their field offices.
Agreed! Best part of the design by a mile...er...kilometer?
How about finding out who sent the friend request for those you are already friends with (or, conversely, can you determine who accepted the request)? My wife and I are each convinced that the other sent the first friend request before we even met IRL (first weeks of law school had everyone friending everyone else…
Oh snap that’s not far from me...if only I had a bike...
Very true. Floridians also have that problem. Way too hot to ride, then in the evenings there’s a thunderstorm.
Maybe get a nice commuter bicycle too. Or a scooter?
Exactly!
I usually hate these kind of comments, but it reminds me of Ferrari’s version of the Jaguar F-Type...but since the F-type is one of my faves, this is totally awesome!
I seem to recall being 12 and wanting to win and play well even without pressure from adults...
Just in time for a new, slightly smaller, slightly cheaper truck to come in and fill the gap, eh?
I do. I like it better than the current RX at least.
Oh yes the torque!
