Yep. I won’t go and say I need a pickup, but with motorcycles and hardware store runs and construction tools, it makes sense a lot of the time. Midsize is best size, 1/2 ton trucks are too big to be useful if you ever need to go to a city.

Bubbalou’s is still around!—good to know. That’s *amazing* barbecue (mmm...lamb!). I used to work (early 1990's) about 2 blocks away from the Lee Rd. location and someone from my office would get takeout for everyone at least once per week.

But only the original Lee Rd location. The rest are licensed and not nearly as good.

Lived in Orlando [Winter Park] for 8 years.

1. Realize that I-4 even though it is an “Even” numbered highway, it goes N-S like an “Odd” one, for its duration in Orlando. It is NOT an E-W highway.

2. If you are going to DW, do NOT stay in Orlando, or you are going to be doing a lot of driving. DW is not despite

If we’re talking breakfast, don’t leave out White Wolf on Orange. College Park also has Shaker’s and Cristo’s which are good options for standard fare.

I live in Orlando currently. First thing to know is that the Orlando metropolitan area is very large; and the city of Orlando is not that big. Disney is not even in the same county as Orlando. Kissimmee is not Orlando; nor is Lake Buena Vista.

As for staying in the area near the theme parks, use VRBO or home away and look for things off 192 in the Kissimmee area. We have been staying here for years. There are multiple houses for rent that allow you to enjoy proximity to the parks (about 15 minutes drive to the main gate of WDW, similar to utilizing their

Food: The food is bad for you... but a few places do it well. John’s Tex Mex, Mellow Mushroom, Bagel King, and Hotdog World on 50.

I second Winter Garden - beautiful picturesque quaint old downtown. Same goes for Sanford downtown as well.

Lived in Winter Park too. Johns Tex Mex is the best place to get a Burrito.

LMAO at the commentator saying Orlando doesn’t have good food.
Orlando is secretly one of the best food cities in the United States. It’s nestled in between several incredibly fertile regions, so the produce in grocery stores and restaurants is amazing. The thing is, all of the good restaurants are located in central

I grew up in N.O. and moved to Orlando in 2000 (before Katrina). The food here obviously isn’t as good as New Orleans, but it is still very good. “Restaurant Row” on Sand Lake has some pretty good steakhouses. Ocean Prime is the best of the bunch over there IMO.

Drive or take an Uber to Winter Garden, which is just outside Orlando (only a 15 min drive). The quaint Downtown Winter Garden areas has great restaurants, bars, and an award winning brewery.

Enzian Theater - they were doing the Alamo Drafthouse formula first.

This sounds like a weird one to suggest but, go to the water parks on rainy days. They’ll be empty and it’ll be great. Notice I said rainy, not stormy. Parks do close when there is lightning in the vicinity.

How does it compare to the E400?

It’s a pretty great idea making this a side-by-side. They’ll sell them, but they don’t have to go through the ludicrously expensive process of crash testing. They can make the transition later when people are more familiar with the name.

Anand Mahindra is talking about it on Twitter right now. Side note, he’s a great guy to follow, lots of fun stuff. He actually tweets like a person, not a corporate chairman. Cool guy.

Nah. I’ll still take Chevy’s bumper step over the man step. One allows you to just get in the bed over the tailgate, the other necessitates dropping the tail gate.

Even Joe Flacco wonders what makes this “Elite”.
