What’s the price?  Nevermind.  It doesn’t matter.  NP.

I lived there for a while, and *hated* it.  There are plenty of people I know who absolutely adored it - the romanticism of it, the excitement, not having a car - but that just wasn’t me.  That said, every time I’ve visited I’ve loved it, just spent a lot of money doing so.

Only if you view education, life experience, and self-improvement ONLY as a dollars and cents investment.

Also any kind of racial studies.  This poster (troll) is definitely a racist.

This guy’s definitely a racist, but I don’t think the comment was racist.  The comment was just stupid, uneducated, and counterproductive for a society that needs a *more* educated electorate, not less.  But not racist.  Just wrong and stupid from a clearly racist poster.

If it’s crazy, it’s more on the crazy *low* end.

Still funny.  Checks out.

Most people I know (including myself) that lived in NYC at one time are both glad they lived there and glad they got out.

I don’t understand that people don’t get the horse. It was the horse the leader of the golden company was riding when they were annihilated.

I live in Champaign, IL.  I *gasp* own a home.  And it ain’t a McMansion - it was built in 1897.  I live close to a small thriving downtown with TONS of stuff to do.  Not as much as huge cities, but I also live 2 hours from Indianapolis, Chicago, and Saint Louis.  There’s nothing New York has that I can’t get from a

Clearly you didn’t have an apartment that overlooked the GW bridge.

And I think that’s a totally different thing.  I wouldn’t want to live in SoCal (I love winter - I’m basically a Stark), but every time I go there I get the appeal and understand why people would want to pay the “sunshine tax.”

There are cities that are much less suffocating.  I live in a small city and love it.  Not for everyone, but there are a lot more options than the 3 you put forward here.

Correction.  It’s awesome to live there if you have money.  If you don’t, not so much.  And I don’t mean a little bit of money, either.  You need gobs.

Varys and Tyrion as well.

I like the character - flawed with strengths as well - but YES.

I don’t get the love for Sansa. She survived some horrific things, but literally all she did was survive. Just like Arya. Just like Bran. Just like Edmure fucking Tulley. Just like Samwell Tarly. Just like Ser Davos. Just like Brienne.

Can also use canned shrimp instead of crab meat.

That’s an awesome comp if it can be used as a gift to someone!  “Merry Christmas, person who I don’t really know that well but for some reason bought me a gift card to Chilis!”

Also, commencement ceremonies are the worst. No one is there for any reason other than to get a degree or see a loved one get one. Stop trotting every dignitary you can find across the stage to yammer for a half hour each and just pass out degrees so we can clap and be on our way.
