Same here, back in the day, you couldn’t get them in Georgia, so South Carolina got a bunch of out of state visitors around the 4th. Best bet was to have a location right across the border off of I-95.

Here is my reaction to this in two ways;

Even though it reminded me that someone desperately needs to re-make “It Came from the Desert!”

I was going to bring up Darkstone... but I realized the ‘worth trying’ part. Back in the day Darkstone (PC... though I think there was a PS version) was very good scratch for the Diablo itch. HUGE nostalgia love for that game though. However, I am not sure how well it holds up currently.

Don’t feel bad, for the longest time I would have bet my left pinky finger that the reason we haven’t gotten another Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders was all his fault. Turns out he didn’t have anything to do with the original either.

And people say that Comcast doesn’t save them money. Because of my datacap, I just saved 60 bucks by not being able to play a game I was looking forward to.
