Purely going off of the trailer, I could tell that the movie feels exploitative. They’re just showing a hot JLaw alternating between *suffering* and *poker face*.
Also, you can’t always tell from a trailer, but it doesn’t surprise me that the plot is not fully fleshed-out... Feels like that kind of gratuitous “hot spy

Same, because I have major gaps in my lit education. I’ve only recently read Love Medicine and she’s definitely in the top contemporary writers out there.

This sucks. I really like his work and we really need more Native American writers. They don’t all have the same audience as Louise Erdrich.

I didn’t even say how educated I am, so, not sure about your criticism... And I don’t think you can argue against getting at least a high school education. That’s not really worth bragging, is it.

“Jennifer Lawrence says she never finished middle school or high school and has no regrets”

Thanks, gurl!! It comes naturally.

Okay so, I hate those “cool girls” but I identify with some aspects of the whole “guys are easier to hang with.” I have friends on both sides and don’t get me wrong, my closest friends are girls. Last time I had a best guy friend, we turned into a couple. So it goes.
However, I was never a girly girl and tend to be

“They don’t like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don’t lick their fingers generously and they don’t like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavor into their mouth.”
Um, excuse me, that is *exactly* how I eat chips.

Hannah, how dare you butcher the name of our French redhead goddess #Huppert

What if you’re terrible at telling stories...
You still need to practice and script it, even if it’s personal.

This is bullshit. First of all, Bardot is and was a victim of predatory directors, from a very young age. She’s given interviews in the past telling how bad the abuse got on set. And who knows what happened off set... Second, it’s a generally accepted fact that she’s been unstable for a while. She’s one of those

The reluctance to talk ingredients is making me side-eye Glossier... But I’m a sucker for Cool-girl Aesthetic. They say Skin first, Makeup second: okay, I’m on board that trend.
My question is: are the products worth it? Any honest reviewers out there?

Aaaah the ole “hoarder’s dilemma.” To keep, or throw away and regret?
As a junior pack rat (who will maybe end up like mama senior pack rat), I tend to keep stuff “just in case.” I used to have a few items in the 90s that would be cool by today’s standards, but I was a kid. My mom, on the other hand, had BOXES of prime

I literally have some that must be at least 15 yrs old, saved up just for a cyclical fashion moment like this.

“Bumbercrunch” made my day

I feel you on this! But I also have a case of obvious love handles despite not being fat so... It’s medium-waist for me

thanks for the links ! Admittedly I’m neither a space nor a sci-fi fan so these thoughts of mine are fairly undeveloped.

that sounds kinda nice.

Ya know, I’m an atheist and a practical person - and yet I’m open to aliens not only existing but interfering somehow in human development. Simply because the odds are in their favor. The universe is infinite and we’re probably not the most evolved species out there - let’s be honest.

A good portion of my non-American friends are on -or have been on - some type of depression/anxiety medication. The others self-medicate with alcohol and such.
