I want to say that the collective USA doesn’t deserve John Oliver, but women sure do. He’s beyond amazing.

I dated a philosophy major.
You can call it a bagel or English muffin, but that shit is all toast to us, and y’all love it.
Damn, you got me there.
Counterpoint : guys like Alex Cameron really make it work.
Maybe, but in my experience it’s often the opposite - women tend to thicken if you don’t work out like crazy. (just my family then?) I’m the same age as her and was at my best in early 20s, I haven’t lost the so-called “baby fat” at all.
Yeah, I’ve been noticing for a while. For someone who used to say (very often) that she wouldn’t give in to thinness standards in Hollywood, she’s clearly gone for the average thin-blonde look. Never liked her much anyway.
Apparently they hate cloves - and I love the spicy smell so it’s win-win.
Can Sephora counter-sue for customer stupidity?
Seriously, I’m no germaphobe but even I know you shouldn’t do that...
I’m a Frenchie and I approve this collection.
Same here - I went to college as a freshman ten years ago. Kept studying on and off until last year and I only just started my first full-paid job at 27. Careers start later for some people...
But yeah I frequently feel old even though all that shit feels like yesterday.
Oh man, hang tight! In my case, I do the moving.
The lack of close close friends is also from moving around a lot, so of course I haven’t had time to build long-lasting relationships.
I don’t have enough life experience to give you useful advice except that you’re definitely not alone.
Totally agree - but maybe here what I mean by “best” is not “the best” but more in terms of intimacy levels and how well they know me. I haven’t really developed the equivalent proximity with my friends that I have with a partner.
Yeah my mom still has fantastic 90s Gap stuff, including some I inherited and am trying to fit into. More interesting stuff than today, anyway.
Yeah I’ve known for a while but it’s easier said than done. I’ve been putting friends first for a while now and I guess it means less commitment on the partner front. Harsh but necessary.
That totally sucks! So I guess you can also understand why I don’t quite believe either in the whole “your girlfriends are your family” schtick... Clearly, this one works if you have trustworthy friends. Another case of YMMV. Glad you have your husband!
I totally agree with Anna Faris - the problem is that I don’t live those words of wisdom. I’m one of those sad people without a proper best friend (but with a lot of good friends). My boyfriends invariably become my best friends, which means that when I break up with them, I also lose my best friend. It sucks.
Gotcha. Hard pass then.
I also never watched SATC while it was on and now when I see some episodes I think “really??” - agreed
She did but she still pops up now and then. I am also very sad she left.
She is *the woooooorst*
I want to kill off both Mike and her whenever they’re onscreen together. The whole relationship to me is insufferable.
Bitterly disappointed about the lack of Harvey Specter - um I mean Gabriel Macht - in this VF article. He, Gina Torres and Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt) are the only reasons I still watch Suits.
