@torgreed: "And, if you're braking that hard, there should be visible front-end dive."

@fuzzybob: Well spotted, sir. I like the way you think.

@Stymie99: No, nor would my first action be to call the police were it to happen today.

@jimstoic: Per your # 1: I've found that several vehicles I have driven had speedometers and/or odometers that seemed to be calibrated fast to the tune of ~10%. It seems to be fairly common.

@cheeezwhiz: "All impartial studies have shown that they have done nothing to improve safety."

@msatlas: Thank you for this; I hate all automated systems for levying fines for "moving violations," but the gross number of tickets seemed to pin the guy as a bad actor using creative bullshit, rather then, as you say, a guy with a business who owns a ton of vehicles.

@ɹǝʌoɹ ǝБuɐɹʇs: It seems to me that, were that the case, it would result in obvious distortion.

@BronxWhiteBoi: So basically what you're saying is three things:

@Rapture Rising: It IS the principal. When you don't make stands on principals, you are complicit in the abridgment of your freedoms.

@MaverickTopGun: They don't really need to bump the camera, so much as they need to bump the OPTICS.

@johnpooley3: No, that isn't all that matters either; The lens system makes a HUGE difference.

@Faxmonkey: I think you're at least partially right; It seems logical to me for them to announce it at WWDC, and I wouldn't be shocked if they are hoping to release on their usual timetable, with the rumors being their backup plan so that people can keep it in their pants in three months if they miss their optimistic

@dccorona: That's not quite it; The idea of "organized crime" as you typically see is the semi-large group that takes orders from a few at the top, generally with varying degrees of middle management. It's directed, and it's organized from the top down.

The issue of using desert land to harvest solar energy is that people don't generally live in the desert, and thus generation stations in such areas would need vast and expensive distribution systems, and the costs of these (generation station + distribution grid) more or less put it outside the realm of what is

Barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen.

@Macoy: Correction: they don't *downsize* their HD games, they often UPSCALE their games to quasi-HD in the form of 720p.
