@correlate: Likely because he was in possession of something the NFA of 1934 describes as a "destructive device."

@Ricorich196: That's all well and good, but the issue is that when the yellow isn't long enough, you can easily be in the intersection before it turns yellow and not be through it before it turns red.

@Platypus Man: Well, with gaming it's mostly a tech-related thing; The current crop of video cards is to the point where they can generally render 1920x1080 (16:9 HD standard) at the same graphical quality as this generation's consoles at over 30FPS, and as such many can do so at greater than 60FPS..

@pinshot: Whiplash from sticker-shock.

@Jordan White: Couldn't colorblindness also keep people from enjoying 3D movies?

@Mike McIntire: Maybe *YOU* don't, but I've got 6GB in this machine, and I usually run both Firefox and Chrome most of the time (I even run IE on occasion, as it's the only one that handles silverlight well, meaning that it's the only one that works for Netflix), and they end up using 1.5-2+ GB of RAM each. *Insert MMO reference here*

@8x10: Actually, that isn't Whiskey — it's WHISKY.

@CptTripps: I've cycled on the roads near me in the past, and there were many times where I was moving either above the speed limit, or faster than the speed of traffic. It all comes down to what those two speeds happen to be, what the grade is, and how physically fit the cyclist is.

@create_faster: That's because, while we like alcohol, we prefer to drink with other people who are also drinking.

To be honest, a taser could be a good tool to use in taking down a large animal; Tasers work by overloading your nervous system — you can't control your muscles because the electrical impulses from your brain can't get through to them.

@JDickson87: Actually, there are two kinds of cars that tend to get stolen; Cars that are extremely valuable and popular (E.G. Cadillac Escalade) and cars that are cheaper and extremely numerous (E.G. Honda Civic).
