I am also afraid of guns. When my boyfriend showed me his, even though I knew it was unloaded, I still handled it as though it was as delicate as the shroud of Turin. I've handled it, gone to the shooting range, etc. and still, I'm extremely wary of it. And that's how it should be.

Slightly irrational but I feel the exact same way. I don't mind being irrational. Guns are used for killing people and things, like Doug said. My bf and his dad tried to take me shooting a couple of weekends ago, but I fired the gun twice and lost interest. I don't even want a gun in my hand.

About six months ago I was working from home when I thought I saw a woman fall to the street from an apartment above me.

Are we sure it's not this guy from My Strange Obsession?

My thoughts on this are conflicted. Definitely I LOVE my pup and think that animals are amazing and that pet ownership shouldn't be restricted based on socioeconomic status; however, we buy the pup insanely expensive dog food- grain-free, small batch, organic. And it costs less than a dollar a day to feed her. If I

OH HELL NO! THOSE DAMN ANIMALS BETTER GET A JOB!

I have no opinions on Miley Cyrus, but there is NOTHING I would not do for her hair. NOTHING. I'd take over a small country and run its economy into the ground for her hair.

How does this get published? What was I reading about, Pet Food Stamps or video games?

Being forced to go on vacation to Greece without your significant other? Cry me a fucking river.

I did not imagine the Duchess sounding like that. I mean, I knew she had an english accent, but I never imagined her to sound so... professional? Which is what she should sound like, I guess... anyways, I think she should start taking over for David Attenborough and narrate for Planet Earth-esque stuff.

I'm sorry, Victoria Beckham is a cow? What the what?

"FEMINAZI STOLE MY ICE CREAM" is one of the best and most accurate MRA takedown lines I've heard.

My Bossypants was purchased pre- kindle app so I'm posting Cinesnark's section on it. It's one of my favorite parts of her book.

It's from Bossypants!

I don't know either. I've been a regular commenter since about 2007, and I had a star back in the day. Now all my comments are gray and nobody ever responds to them.

The story is from Tina Fey's book "Bossypants" about Amy Poehler's first week or so at SNL after Tina had been writing there for a while. It was a writers' room meeting with everyone there and before the meeting began, Amy was goofing off on some filthy bit she had made up and Jimmy (ostensibly the "star" of SNL at

I also doubt that every couple goes through cheating. How you react to cheating is totally personal. Just because your sister in law doesn't think it's a big deal does not mean that you need to feel the same way. If you don't think your relationship can survive cheating, don't stick around just because others think

I highly doubt EVERY couple experiences infidelity. That just seems super unlikely.

Yeah...they grey comment thing feels a little high-school to me. Like, I'm that nerdy kid that plays video games and writes for the Lit Mag, and while I'm kind of friends with a few of the popular kids, and maybe even get invited to sit at the popular kids' table at lunch every once in a while, I'm definitely not
