I don't really understand how travel to Cuba works. I thought it was pretty much banned, but since it's been changing lately, I have no idea who is allowed to go and for what reasons. A classmate of mine went to Cuba a few weeks ago, and she is not Cuban and has no relatives there. How does this work?

Not necessarily. I just quit a job that had cut my hours drastically because I got a new job and wanted to have more availability for them.

Yes, that's why I try not to read the comments on Gawker. But lately, I've seen a similar tone on some Facebook posts, which is really shocking to me. I live in the South, but I come from a very liberal town. Privilege- it's everwhere!

Yes, because jewelry and slavery are so comparable! This song is ridiculous.

Right?! I have seen a lot of people responding to this saying, "It's not racist, it's honest!" As though one person's honesty could never be racist.

A morning show on my local radio station was discussing this song this morning, asking listeners to call in and let them know if it was racist or not. The first (white) caller they had on went on to say, "It's definitely not racist. I like it. It's about time the 'other side' finally owns up to their own racism." At

You and me both! I am graduating on May 11th and I just want everything to be done withhhhhh!!!

I usually wear thongs when I work out because my butt is rather small and doesn't hold regular underwear in place well, so thongs allow me to work out freely without having the annoyance of all that fabric bunching back there. Also, I wear thongs pretty regularly anyway so they're not uncomfortable to me at all.

I am working my way through a master's as well, and when I initially saw the $15/hr figure in this article, I thought it seemed excessive, as that's about how much I expect to be making once I graduate. I make $13/hr currently with my BA. However, you have to take into account that this article is specific to NYC,

Oh, how I loved my pogs. I can see them now... :(

That's great! You must find her now!

I am 24 and this happens to me. I get so tired and then I'm no fun to be out with!

Listen, having worked in many schools, I can say that if you can't deal with the occasional rudeness from a student without resorting to physical violence, you're in the wrong profession.

Good! Because I can't blame her for punching him in the face. I'd be scared as hell too if an angry person tracked me down and pinned me against a wall.

Surely (hopefully?) he will be charged. In what world would a judge decide that being called an asshole makes it okay to pin someone to a wall and body slam them? I've been called my fair share of names, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean it would be a-ok to retaliate physically.

Haha that just played out really well in my head!

That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen a dog do.

I have Tourette's, which puts a strain on my relationship. I know I drive my boyfriend crazy at times with my tics, and I drive myself crazy pretty much all the time for the same reason, but he's very understanding for the most part. It is definitely baggage I have to carry around every day in every situation with

Yes, yes they do, and I think it's silly. I can understand a laptop for a high school kid, so they can do their schoolwork and whatnot, but I know 3 yr olds with iPads! It bothers me mainly because they're such expensive and fragile devices, and there's no way a child is going to fully understand just how much money
