I say it with a "p" sound as well. I just tried saying it without it and it sounds like it should refer to some person who is a ham fanatic. A ham-ster.

I definitely have other shows that I would put on or around the same pedestal of AD. What do you consider to be the best show ever made?

Well done.

I don't know about you, but I get sweaty after dancing around all night and I feel gross about handing the bartender sweaty dollar bills and slightly paranoid about my phone one day becoming water damaged. I need this water resistant side boob pocket!

I want this so bad.

Further proof that Arrested Development is very likely the greatest show ever made.

I have never pulled an all-nighter either. I've never been willing to sacrifice my sleep, because I know I will be a cranky mess the next day if I do. I think the latest I've stayed up working on something is maybe 12 PM (but usually not even that late) and if I need to finish, I just get up earlier the next morning.

Right? That would be my regret. Why the hell did I spend so much money to be stressed out about papers right before the world ends? Lame.

Ohhhh goodness, I am just a hot mess now :(

I hated the colposcopy. It was so uncomfortable. Luckily the cramping passed after a day or two. I'm sorry you're still feeling crampy. I hope everything turns out okay for you. We're in this together (with 80% of all other women, apparently), girl!

Oh my gaaaaah, I just wanna lay on the ground while they pounce on me and suffocate me with their chubby little puppy bodies!!!! That's not weird, right?

But, to Ladyology: re-reading your comment, I'm 24, so I'm not really the generation before you!

Thanks so much for your response. You really helped to put it in perspective! I hadn't thought about it like a cold, but honestly, you're right. Why be ashamed if such a large majority of us ends up getting it?

Well, keep in mind that the vaccine only protects against a small number of strains when there are over a hundred out there. So it's helpful against some of the ones that are more prone to cause cancer at least...

But isn't that not true even? My doctor and my gynecologist told me your immune system can fight it off.

Same here...I was at work when my doctor called and it took all my strength to keep from crying. I broke down when I got home, but after I did a little research it helped to calm me down. The colposcopy sucked, as expected, but I guess it all has really helped me see the value of getting a regular Pap smear. Glad I'm

All of these replies really are making me feel better!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with HPV, and I felt incredibly ashamed and embarrassed about it, but this makes me better to see that 80% of women end up getting it...

That reminds me of the kids who peek under dressing room or bathroom stalls when you're in them and the parent says NOTHING. It's kind of unnerving taking your clothes off when you know that a kid is systematically peeping in all of the stalls!

She is the best!
