In the US they currently don't have limits, but I think in about 6 months it will be the same as the rest of the world. I wouldn't really call it greedy, though - in order for their business to be sustainable, they figured that they needed about 15% of users to be premium users, but at the time it was more like 8%.
I'm finding a lot of music not available in the US - I've pretty much had to delete the playlists I used when it was a UK account. I mean, what's the deal with some albums having only certain songs available in this country?
