The Panasonic competitor to the EM-5 is the GMC-GH3, which also has weather sealing. EM-5 probably still takes better stills, but lacks the GH3's (and G5's) 1080p recording. The Panasonics can even do 1080p60

DSLRs are going the way of the dinosaurs and traditional landlines. They're more expensive, have more parts that can break, and are bigger (not just bodies, but lenses too) for no other reason than to hold the bulky mirror system.
