MotionAutoTV is a very underrated, genuine carguy YouTube channel (along with his friend, Junkyard Dave, currently restoring a FC3S). I started watching this build about two weeks after he picked it out of the field, total rollercoaster with some very boring primer sections.

Thats the base package screen. You can get it equipped with Sync3 and a 4.3inch screen :

Always loved having combat engineers attached to my platoon (a rarity for us Jarheads). If we weren’t trying to figure out how to blow stuff up, we would actually be destroying stuff. Win/Win!

I did the timing on my SVT Focus 2 years ago and the Gates t-belt tensioner I bought failed after 700 miles, flattening all of my exhaust valves when it let go. I didn’t have time to rip it apart, so I took it to a local mechanic.

Came for this meme.

Yeah, regular Zetecs don't have to worry about losing valves when the belt goes, but it would still be worth doing to not have it strand you somewhere. Keep in mind that the water pump is not timing belt driven so you shouldn't have to replace it.

Most of the guys here in the US do it every 100,000 miles or every 10 years, whichever comes first. Some have gone longer, but I'd consider it borrowed time at that point. It's worth doing to know you don't have to worry about it.

I commented on this in the search posting... the car pictured looks like it has some issues and with no engine bay shots, I'd be highly skeptical. Sadly, most of these cars will go to the wayside with a few being kept pristine by some of the most diehard Focus owners out there.

What reliability issues are you speaking of? The Zetec is a fine little motor if you change the oil and do regular maintenance. Same with the 2.0 and 2.3L Duratecs. The SPI cars are a bag of cats, I'd Zetec swap one if someone gave it to me.

This car is realistically worth between $2200 and $2500. The front lip is missing and the car is sitting like it has regular ZX3 springs up front. At 125k, the seller would also need to produce some service history as the timing belt is a must service item on this (interference) motor. The clear coat, as noted by

While I agree with your comment, you are essentially forcing someone to buy a ST3 (HIDs, Recaros, MFT) which you're not going to get for these prices.

Go touch an ST, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Not to mention that the software that runs these planes is among the most secure platforms in the world. Not impervious to hacks, but incredibly hard.

Don't mind me, just photobombing. I <3 my SVT even with all of its quirks.

I, for one, welcome our new Unimog overlords!

Revoknuckle? Pleasepleasepleaseplease...

It would be nice if Ford brought the wagon here, but i haven't seen any indication of it. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Probably the best comment on stance. I've lowered my car, but I don't go around killing my bumpers and destroying vital pieces.

I would think a co-driver that had lived through it once would be telling the driver "WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT LIFT!"

The ST/SVT naming scheme was simply a market identifier.
