Recent VW TV ad where the guy parks his GTi and walks away. Passenger goes, “aren’t you going to lock your car?” Driver: “nah, it’s a stick shift” /scene
Yeah, work is migrating to W10. For the virtual machine I run maybe an hour a year, I just haven’t been bothered to try to upgrade it. I’ll have to take a look at the upgrade route. Thanks.
Good to know. I’m mainly on Mac OS with Win 7 virtualized and Win 7 at work, so it works well for me. I haven’t messed with 8 or 10 because my Win 7 licenses were free through my college and I have no need to pay for 8 or 10.
60-whatever it take to pass this guy.
And then you have us, we’ll pay for tires that wear faster and pay much more for said experience.

I got to meet him and his car at a Shop N Save in pittsburgh as a kid. Made me a Rudd fan for life. (I went as him for Halloween one year). The fact that he drove the Tide car made it 3953985 times cooler.
I learned something today. That’s ingenious.

No problem. I got it originally to have an easier way for multiple desktop backgrounds across multiple monitors. It has SO many features baked into it that I’ve found other tricks / things that make my life easier. Multiple task bars, window mapping, multiple profiles (one for dock, one for travel, etc.)
I somehow convinced my company to install it for me (to them it was freeware) and I have my own license that I run on it. It might be a simple software request / conversation with your IT department.
I use Display Fusion. Hands down the best solution for this. Multi monitor support, multi desktop support, multi resolution support. Buy a personal license once and you have it for life.
No idea. Might be for preventing sand intrusion?
Fun fact, it shares an engine class with the CRJ-700, -900, and E-170 / -175. Think about that the next time you’re on a regional flight.
Buy a bit of everything (index funds are your friend) every month and wait 40 years, you’ll be fine.
