“Yaoi” doesn’t automatically mean gay porn. It’s just the western otaku term for anything about gay male relationships. If you want to get pedantic, the Japanese otaku term for gay male romance (which can include porn) would be “BL”, but it’s not a common term in the west that most non-BL fans would be aware of.
