It's that very reason why I haven't tried to read the manga. The anime is waay more approachable in comparison. 

CR gets the TV broadcast versions when they simulcast. They also change character names to the official international versions which are lame.

Jotaro is a pretty static character, and the middle of the story gets repetitive. Part 3 is very much a product of its time (i.e. unflappable manly-man delinquent protagonist, the Silk Road miniseries was a cultural event) while at the same time being revolutionary (i.e. bonkers characters and situations, Stands…
