If it saw duty in Afghanistan then likely it triggers positive for gunpowder residue when going through security. So it gets more attention to be sure that it's just the trace, rather than any serious threat.

Walking is not always a real possibility. To continue to use the transportation analogy, how about people who live in rural areas where affordable housing and work might be separated by 10,15 or 20 miles. Would you still tell them to suck it up and walk, even in the dead of winter? Or would you rather to be a…
I don't think anyone is saying that we should buy Ferrari's for everyone, just that there should at least be a reliable form of public transportation for those that can't afford a car.
As someone who went through this about 15 months ago, I agree with everything here, especially the fallacy of "time heals". The pain never goes away, you learn to live with it, and you deal with it better, but it's always going to be there.
If you are doing LAMP development with it, take a look at puPHPet as a quickstart. I just set up the basics with that, then modded it as I needed it to be, and stuffed it up on my GitHub account so I can clone it out to all my projects.
Vagrant and VirtualBox work together to create repeatable virtual machines. I'm doing LAMP development right now, and it's nice that I can spin up a full VM, with the same settings and built how I want it in about 5 minutes with just a couple of commands. Keeps all my projects isolated from one another, and I don't…
Having local admin rights is the only thing that makes mine tolerable. Being able to install VirtualBox, Vagrant and Cygwin.
Nope, Proraso is my goto, but I have some TOBS Lemon Lime I use from time to time for a change. I'm not as experienced lathering creams as I am soaps though, and I usually bleed pretty good using the TOBS, it's getting better though.
I picked up a Remington MB-4040 rechargable to keep the 'stache and Goatee in shape. Very nice, has 3 different heads, an adjustable (and removable) guard, and lithium-ion battery. I think it was about $40 at Target.
I second this!
Maybe they need to do a Hive Five on it!
It's a nostalgic thing for me. When I was a kid the barber shop I went to all the time used Clubman aftershaves. It reminds me of that. Love the scent, though I do want to try their Bay Rum. Maybe when this bottle gets low.
This is my current kit:
You will need to be rooted and have the Secure Settings app from the play store.
I just bought a 4 bed 2 bath house on an over-sized lot in town for $85K. Not every home is in a seller's market. With insurance and taxes in escrow I'm paying less for my mortgage that I was in rent for the house I just left.
Great advice, but as someone who has teleworked for firms all over the Northeast, sometimes this is easier said than done. Adding to the usual frustrations by being in an unfamiliar city really can make it a challenge to get to the interview on time.

I've not tried that but it would be perfect for my situation, I live in a deadzone and have a microcell in my house. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to work on that.
Not always workable. AT&T does traffic sniffing on it's data plan users, if your plan doesn't come with tethering and you dont pay for it, they will throttle or block traffic that doesn't appear to originate from the phone. Ran into this before. I could tether the tablet just fine because it was another android…
You might need the $50 after this...just sayin'
