I was hoping that I could pick up a 911R at the end of this year. Looks like yet another car company is trying to alienate their fans and future (and past, for me) owners. Very put off by this limited edition stuff.

I’ve seen a number of hypercars with the exposed carbon weave and frankly, I don’t think it looks that great. This seems to be beautifully done, but I’m not sure I’d choose it over a color. If I felt it would increase the value over the money and effort to get it done, I’d do it.

I totally agree. Thankfully, I crashed a few times already so I don’t have people coming at me, gleefully awaiting my pain so they can commiserate with me. Also, I haven’t ridden in a very long time... probably has something to do with it.
