All good points, but all I'm saying is that if the narrative is that the terriers followed guidelines to get on our planes, then why are we so focussed on making it harder for them to get things on board that they were already trying to avoid taking on board?

Fully legal at the time. I used to take knives on the plane with me all the time. I would just hand them to TSA for them to check for length and they would hand them back to me.

let’s just keep in mind that the original fools on 9/11 were following the rules and did not actually take anything on the plane that they were not allowed. metal detectors or not, they weren’t trying to sneak anything on.

This is not that long to get something of this magnitude going. I don’t know whether they’ll make it or not, but there have been no real surprises thus far. It’s super hard to get a hardware business going.
