For years I have seen and heard people arguing over this with supposed aficionados asserting their pedantic dominance over others with the ultimate intent of derailing conversations.
I bought something that I think should help clarify what kind of car I am driving to those who’ve never heard of it (all people).
I’ve been admiring the Chevrolet Malibu for quite some time and finally decided to go ahead and make a sensible purchase.
The best one in years.
For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the newest design from everyone’s favorite musician/car designer, here it is:
So, anyhoo, the project continues. I just got some more Argon so my welds are back to their normal, amateur level. They were bizarrely disfigured the last time around, but that’s ok for tacking.
I was tooling around the interwebs, looking for trouble, when I came upon a clever ruse:
Feels just that much more real, now that Kyle has given it his once over.
Still working on the rack for my XT. Some progress. I’ve got tons of stuff to do these days, but I managed to get a bit done.
Plenty to do, and this is my view. I have been working on a roof rack for my scoob. A few pix below. I wanted something that was a little more in sync with the design of the car. Most standard racks look uhhh... utilitarian, IMO. They are also too big and bulky. I don’t have a rack fetish, unlike a lot of Subarinos. I…
So, after finally getting the car officially in my name... after 6 years of ownership... I have begun the enormous task of modifying it. I wanted to start with the hard stuff first, so I rolled the dice and replaced my eyebrow bulbs.
Someone must have posted this, but this is incredible.
I haven't done this in a while, so I am just reaching out to yaz to see if you have any insight. I am selling my car to myself. It has been under a previous company name but we have dissolved that business so it needs a new owner. Me. What is the best way to do this in SoCal? Should I sell it to myself for $1 or…
Balboni is the reason for the season.
I love the way they drop the phrase "custom paint". As if rattle can makes anything custom. It IS a manuel, howevz.
Ok, we're all hot and bothered about 911s right now, so here is one for all you LS swappers:
Some of you may remember a while back in the long, long ago when we were discussing Zondifying a Merc s600: http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/how-to-make-a-…
So, my wife gets a call from the dealer saying that they have a VIP customer who wants a 2013 Honda Fit. The dealer says they'll give us a 2015 Fit for our trouble. What the actual duck? Anyone have any insight into this? Sounds like a scam. It's the dealer we got the car from, a dealer we know. Has anyone…
Vintech P550. When the $#%@ is it going to exist? I cannot wait anymore.
I bought this car new a year after the model had changed to the 2009 body style. I've now owned it for 5 years and have NEVER done a thing to it.
