Yes! In my minds ear, the now-grown boy sounds like Bane.

readY. not read. :P
When I need a map, I prefer using the mapquest app that gives me turn by turn spoken directions. Not a big user of public transport (not really an option in my area) so I don't have much to lose there. I always put off updating at least a month or so. That way I avoid unexpected issues with other apps that might not…
Thanks, that was annoying.
I wonder how this theory impacts the whole relativity time-dilation thing. To observers on Earth, how long would a roundtrip to Alpha Centauri seem to take? The same 4 weeks as someone onboard the spaceship, or much longer?
You might take a pair of binoculars along with you. If the skies are clear enough and you're far enough from city lights to see the Milky Way, you can also get a good look at Andromeda. Even on nights not quite clear enough to see the Milky Way, you can see it with even a pretty modest pair of binoculars. It's just…

Thanks, Grumps!
Thank you for posting that video. Now I have some semblance of understanding what my teenager is currently geeking out about.
Crossing your eyes blends the two images, making it hard to see the differences, but if you compare the contour of the white feathers on the neck where they meet the darker feathers of the body, you'll see they are quite different.
Nice!
Yeah, it's sort of like they had a checklist of what people liked about TNG. Spaceships? Check. Warp Speed? Got it. Little bit of Buddy humor between Geordi and Data? Got it. Drama? Hmmm...
I agree. As much as I loved the Enterprise D, and even Kirk - the killing of Picard's brother and nephew is the one that really pissed me off. It was a cheap way of inserting 'drama' into the movie. They didn't even bother to get rights to use images of the actors who played Rene and Robert, or even find actors to…
I always thought Kirk should have had a moment on the Enterprise D - taking command while Picard dealt with Soran on the planet below.
A friend of mine, who hadn't seen the film yet but knew of Kirk's death, asked what I thought of the movie. I said "It was okay... Kirk's death was disappointing." My friend asked, "What, does he fall off a cliff?"
How do the "Gods and Men" folks get away with using the Star Trek title, names, characters, etc. without Paramount or Viacom showing up to "clean their chronometers"?
Skipping the Borg Queen, if this were played as "What if ST:TNG went off the air after the season 3 cliffhanger" I'd be more interested. It's a little convoluted to have him be turned back into Locutus. Glad this is a comic and not a feature film!
Doesn't take much to stand out in the field. I'd be much happier with them if they had a friggin half-sized burrito so I didn't have to spend $6 for a pound of burrito brick - when half a pound would be more than enough.
My best guess is that the meteors keep getting pulled toward the center of the planets gravity, until they reach a level where the density of the gas or the atmospheric pressure pushing back is too high for them to continue. They do believe there is a solid core of some kind deep down in there, so maybe it would…
