Different sizes?! Plastic bills?! Sounds like a bunch of socialist european hullabaloo. Things MUST STAY THE SAME! This is Amercia! Take your ideas and your "metric system" and leave! Good DAY, sir! ;)

There are so many nerd-tastic ways you could go with it. Before I looked at the Rift I was imagining Iron Man - but now I'm thinking a full Predator costume, using the shoulder mounted laser thing as the mount for the camera. (One on each shoulder for stereo vision, I suppose.)

I really like mine. It doesn't have a snap-cover like the one pictured above, instead it's essentially a hard case with a leather pocket on the camera side that snugly holds a few cards. It doesn't need to be removed from the case to be used. I was getting a bit tired of straining my pants pockets, with a large

Of course Han/Remy is going to pay for that hand on her ass with the loss of his bio-kenetic abilities and eventually his life.

Yeah, I startled myself the other day. Might not have been the wisest choice.

Such a stunning accomplishment. Running programs off of an 8-track tape deck. It's just incredible that it's still functioning, and with all that noise out there that we can still sort out the data.

Also: Remastered, and then compressed all to hell so it looks about the same as the pieces you've seen it in a half-dozen documentaries.

Is it just me, or does the guy reading the slate at the beginning of the Bruce Lee tape sound like one of the Mac text-to-speech voices?

Yeah, he's a standout in the JLA for me too. I would love to see a one-off cartoon featuring the Mysterious Edo Policeman.

Squee!!! Er. Uh... I mean - I look forward to seeing this. Yes. My family (especially my 12 year old daughter) has had a tough time mourning over 10 - "The Doctors Wife" episode I think finally won 11 over for us.

I really would've liked this in the movie. That alternate opening doesn't really do much for me, but the movie could have used just a touch of "grounding" before the non-stop Michael Bay-ish stuff.

Heart-breaking, but I would include Seth Brundle and Ronnie from Cronenberg's The Fly. The movie opens up with his awkward pass at her - takes us through a sweet and believable courtship - and ends with (unnecessary spoiler warning) her putting him out of his misery. Heart. Breaking.

Sometimes I forget how silly the cartoons I watched as a kid actually were. The mix-and-match cloning from dead tyrants? Okay. But the outfit? Really? Your genius level IQ says that's the way to go? I wonder if Stalin or Hitler would have gotten as far in that getup. :)

I love the Altoids usb charger. Have always hated to throw the tins away - usually use them to hold thumbtacks and such - but this would be much cooler. My daughter has followed in my footsteps as a Doctor Who fan - we made a papercraft TARDIS a few years ago. Always sort of toyed around with the idea of a sort of

"Glancing down at someone's lanyard to decide whether they're worth talking to is, I assume, the middle-management human's versions of the way dogs smell each other's genitals." Would have been my vote for the pull quote. Clever.

If I remember correctly TNG effects were done more expensively on actual film, which are now available to be scanned into higher definition. DS9 was still shot on film, but all effects compositing was all done on video and in standard definition to save on production costs. So instead of having to scan film elements
