I will say, I am sort of excited for the film adaption of Crazy Rich Asians for this reason. First, I am not Asian but thought the book was hilarious and super interesting. It will also be great to see a cast of almost all Asian characters, playing actual people (not just nondescript Asian characters in the

She is the driver of the show, but Evan has been coming on strong this season.

Her performance as Jessica is probably my favourite thing about that show - and I have a lot of things I love about that show. She is perfect. I hope she starts getting cast in more stuff ASAP.

Wu is amazing on Fresh Off The Boat. She absolutely needs to be in more things.

“If it weren’t for me, she might still be eating out of...the Subzero at Mia’s country house."

Her adoptive parents, Andre Previn and Mia Farrow provided years of good schools, therapy of all kinds, and an affluent life among the cultural elite for quite a few years. It’s disgusting for him to claim credit for her being educated and sophisticated.

Pretty sure that’s him with his daughter with Soon-Yi. That said, I can’t believe this guy was allowed to adopt.

THANK YOU. Her parents Andre Previn and Mia Farrow adopted her, raised her, and fucking educated her, Woody.

Yes, my understanding is that she never was in an orphanage, she went from living in the street to being Mia’s daughter when she was about 6-7(?) so she would have traveled the world and been educated by her mother with no pervy strings attached if he hadn’t made his move.

That part creeped me out too. He didn’t actually adopt her, he was dating her adoptive mother and had a relationship with her while she was still a teen. All of this is gross enough on it’s own without Allen making it sound worse.

And he seems a little confused about who exactly changed her life by adopting her from Korea.

Is there anything we can do to help even a little bit? Does anyone know?
