The CORRELATION COEFFICIENT found in this study IS VERY LOW, 0.14 in the first study where the preference is self-reported, and then only 0.17 in their next study!!! The low number means THE RELATIONSHIP IS WEAK (negligible actually). Reporters should be required to take statistics classes.

It is NOT that they want to look Western, but they want to look Northern Asian...I lived for a long time in Asia and the people do not want to look Caucasian. Paler skin, higher nose are characteristic of North Asians... it is a look that already exists among Asians.
